The Concept
What happens when you combine the falling-block tension of Tetris with the vocabulary challenge of Scrabble? You get WordDrop — a word puzzle game where letter tiles fall with real physics, and your vocabulary is your only weapon against gravity.
Tap letters to build words. Swipe to submit. Clear tiles before they stack past the danger line. It sounds simple, but the combination of time pressure, physics, and word-finding creates a uniquely addictive gameplay loop.
What Makes It Different
Most word games are turn-based. You have all the time in the world to find the perfect word. WordDrop is different — gravity never stops. Tiles keep falling, the danger line keeps rising, and you need to think fast.
The game uses a real physics engine for tile movement and collision. Letters don't snap to a grid — they tumble, stack, and collide realistically. This creates emergent moments where the right letters happen to land next to each other, and you spot a word just in time.
